A pregnancy test changed everything. In the moment Highland Sanctuary learned he was going to become a father, he was hit by an overwhelming feeling that is almost impossible to put into words. Out of that very moment came the song “1+1=3”, as unmathematical as it is logical, and full of surprise. A deeply personal musical snapshot between amazement, happiness, and new responsibility.
As a special addition to the release, a second song appears: “That Kid Now Has A Kid”. After Highland Sanctuary experienced the birth of his daughter, he sat on the sofa at home on the first night and slowly began to grasp what had just happened. Out of profound gratitude and intense feelings of joy, he wrote this further, very intimate song.
Both songs were performed and produced entirely by Highland Sanctuary himself in his own studio, Famous Sound.
